NARRATIVE: Creating a Culture of Multiplication – Dave Ferguson

Dave Ferguson is an award-winning author, founding and lead pastor of Chicago’s Community Christian Church, a missional multi-site community considered one of the most influential churches in America. Dave also provides visionary leadership for NewThing, an international church-planting movement, is president of the Exponential Conference US and a board member of Exponential Europe. Along with the values and behaviors, narrative is a critical component to creating a culture of multiplication. The narrative of a multiplication culture is composed of two parts: language and story. It is the unique language of a multiplication culture that helps create a mental paradigm for a more Biblical and movemental form of church. It is the stories of a multiplication culture that gives life to this new language and makes this form of church seem doable and desirable for everyday followers of Christ. For a leader to create a culture of multiplication they must be able to articulate the language and tell the stories.
